At Your Local Movie Theatre?…Noooo! Live Theatre!!! Theatre Unleashed!!!

For those of you wondering why…oh dear God why hasn’t Phil been writing about all of his favorite movies like Kung-Fu Panda (which I promise I will this week) or writing his second reaction to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull or even making it to the theatre to see such high class fare like Sex and the City *cough*. And why I haven’t written about my being Artistic Director of a theatre company in Los Angeles called Theatre Unleashed! Well, the explanation is below. If you’re in Los Angeles, swing by and give it a gander.

Our first year theatre company is presenting its Inaugural Main Stage Show:

What We Should Have Said

It’s going to be one heck of an evening. Not only am I producing the show, but I’ve written one of the shows and am acting in another! And I’m acting with my good friend Jim Martyka (some of you may know him!)

This remarkable event begins Thursday June 12^th and runs through Sunday June 29^th.

Playing Thurs-Sat @ 8pm and Sundays @ 7pm.

What We Should Have Said

Does our inability to communicate with each other stem from our ignorance of who we are, confusion about who we’re expected to be, or fear of not living up to what we want to be?! Or is it just because we live in Los Angeles? Our first Anthology of One Acts explores the bittersweet, humorous and redemptive themes of self-identity and our desire to communicate who we are and what we want in a city with its own wants and needs.
